Whilst I am only in the early stages of bceimong a certified coach, I can identify with the scenario, and in fact have come up against it already. Much like Phil, I have already started to refer to a broader skill development opportunity and I like his framing of it as personal competencies . I think it will depend on the makeup of the group and it's maturity and as a coach I believe it is up to me to help the group shape the experience they are seeking.
